چکیده
We are reporting a fatal case of air embolism. Although minor cases embolism may go unnoticed, this is after intravenous entry air, which presented with sudden onset pulseless electrical activity during computed tomography scan in the radiology department, requiring cardiopulmonary resuscitation for 15 min. Subsequently, admission to intensive care unit, we achieved return spontaneous circulation. The patient was intubated and ventilated shock state. He remained refractory despite supportive care. Cardiaс arrest registered again catheterization lab could not be revived 4 h from initial cardiac arrest. А reported reveal significant amount intra-cardiac likely cause patient’s death. rare condition, highlights importance early diagnosis delivers message medical staff have high index suspicion patients who risk factors, develop hypoxemia, order treat potentially life-threatening condition effectively timely manner.

A 71-year-old man with a history of excessive smoking was evaluated for an abnormal chest X-ray. He had no angina and no risk factors for coronary artery disease. Considering a high probability of lung cancer in this patient, computed tomography-guided transthoracic lung biopsy was performed by an experienced radiologist. A co-axial 18-gauge needle system was used to enter the lung and two core...

Cone beam computed tomography is a useful technique for imaging the craniofacial lesions. It produces more realistic images that facilitate interpretation. Juvenile ossifying fibroma (JOF) is a rare and benign fibro-osseous neoplasm that arises within the craniofacial bones, especially in the maxilla. Mandibular lesions can be seen in 10% of the cases. In both jaws, it has a predilection for the...

provided the original work is properly cited. CC Over 4,000 articles have been published on intraoperative venous air embolism (VAE) since it was first described in the 19th century [1]. Although its pathological mechanisms, preventative measures, and treatment methods have been established, it still appears consistently. VAE occurs when the pressure in an open vein is lower than atmospheric pr...
